Marble awards come in typically two basic colors (Black and Green),  Marble can be laser engraved leaving a whitish hue (Grey/White) as the engraving.  For a more professional look, they can be deep etched (sand carved) and paint filled.  **(Remember, Marble is a natural stone and each piece will have a slightly different color,
and or vanes running through each piece).**

As a Retired U.S. Marine myself, I pride myself in making an award that is worthy of the sacrifices of a military member,

I Served 24+ years.  Most of my award photo samples show the Marine Corps logo, but I equally manufacture awards for each of our sister services.  I send Plaques and other customize military awards around the world weekly.

A variety of plaques can be seen on this web site, but as in all awards, I have many vendors that carry different plaque boards, from press-board (Least Expensive) to piano finish solid wood plaques (Typically most Expensive). 

Plaques can also have a variety of metal (Brass or Aluminum) Plates to choose from, some plain, either one color, to more decorative with Florentine borders.

Sand Carved

In short, sand carving is a method of decorating or personalizing glass, crystal, marble, stone, and the like.
Sand carving, often referred to as "sandblasting" or "deep etched". **Note: (Not the same a Chemical etching)

My most popular Items to be sand carved is Optical Crystal, Optical Crystal is the top line of Glass.
Optical Crystal can also be laser engraved (Surface etched only), but you do not get the deep depth and clarity you do from sand carving.  (A little more expensive, but well worth it). In my show room, I show examples of each to see the difference, and the customers always choose the sand carving over laser engraving.

Wood Products

Wood is a great product for Laser Engraving, you can get a good depth in the engraving.
There are many different types of wood, the lighter the color (Natural) of the wood the nicer the engraving will look.

We like working with Alder, Cherry woods, But can laser Engrave into just about any wood product (we do not laser engrave into Plywood, due to the many unknown particles places and glued into it)
